Born November 9, 1949 in the village Rabotkina Vesyegonsk district of Tver region. In 1975 he graduated from the Moscow higher art-industrial school.
Participated in the exhibition since 1973.
Since 1980 - member of the Union of artists of Russia.
In 1997 awarded the title of Honored artist of Russia.
In 1999 he was awarded the Cross of St. Michael of Tver.
Works are kept State Museum of them. A. S. Pushkin, the national museums and art galleries of Vladivostok, Magnitogorsk, Kaluga, Tver, and others.
