Seeking artist qualifications for Rocky Hill Park basketball court mural - Deadline April 6

Spokane Arts and the City of Liberty Lake are inviting individual artists or artists teams to submit qualifications for a new mural to be installed on a single outdoor court at Rocky Hill Park. Two or three different artists or artist teams will be selected as finalists for this project. Priority will be given to artists from the Inland Northwest region.

Finalists will be asked to create designs and will receive a design stipend of $500. The size of the Rocky Hill Park court is 56.2 feet x 81.2 feet, and the court will be painted during the summer of 2026. Artists should not apply if they are not available to do the project this year.

This is a request for qualifications only. NO DESIGNS ARE BEING SOUGHT AT THIS TIME. Deadline for submitting artist qualifications is April 6, 2026.

Artists for this submission of qualifications request will be notified on or about May 1. The design deadline for finalists will be during the end of May.
