Police Records & Forensic personnel would like the public to know that the expected wait to apply for CPL can range anywhere from two to three hours. Applications are at the Public Safety Building. Applicants have to go to the Public Safety Building to submit the application in person. A background check and fingerprints are also required. Successful applicants will have permits mailed to them as soon as possible after they are accepted.
WSP collision report forms are found in the entry area of the police department, considered the "safe area" which is open to the public at any hour. You can also file a collision report with the Washington State Patrol using the form and information found here: https://www.wsp.wa.gov/driver/collision-records/
If an emergency, call 911. If you would like to file a report with the police department but do not need immediate assistance, witness/report forms are available at any hour in the entry way area of the police department, considered the "safe area."
