City of Liberty Lake Accepting Applications
for

Advisory Board Members

Municipal Library Board Trustee

The City of Liberty Lake is accepting applications fromindividuals interested in serving a term for a Liberty Lake Municipal Library
Board Trustee. A Trustee is tasked with the duty of helping to direct the fundsand policies of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library. In general, the Board of
Trustees will have a role in determining the mission of the library, settingthe policy that governs the library, and overseeing the general management of
the library. The term is from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020. The Citystrongly encourages residents from Legacy Ridge and the River District to apply.


Planning Commission

The City of Liberty Lake is accepting applications fromindividuals interested in serving on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission
regularly meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, with specialmeetings as needed, and serves as an advisory body to the City Council
regarding land use in the City. The Planning Commission studies and makesrecommendations to the Mayor and City Council for Liberty Lake’s future growth
through continued review of the City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan, zoning code(or development regulations), shoreline management, environmental protection,
transportation system, capital improvements and other matters as directed bythe City Council. There are three (3) voting member positions available, each
for a three-term from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.
