**ATTENTION RESIDENTS**
The 141 Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild AFB, WA will be conducting a number of training exercises on September 6th-7th, 2018.
These exercises will be conducted in the Liberty Lake Regional Park area, including the lake itself.
A military helicopter will be used to hoist Air Force members out of the water on September 6th.
The helicopter is very noticeable and loud, especially when in a sustained hover. Our desire is to inform the residents of the Liber...ty Lake area about the nature of the exercise to avoid concern. We have coordinated this event with the Liberty Lake Regional Park personnel as well as the County Sheriff who will also have personnel in attendance. County Sheriff personnel will have watercraft in the area to keep the civilian populous away from the hoist site during the exercise to ensure safety. The helicopter will be in the area for several hours starting at 10:00 in the morning and then departing at or around 4:00 in the afternoon.
