NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the City of Liberty Lake is accepting public comment on a potential land conversion between the City park properties of Orchard Park and Rocky Hill Park.
The City developed and constructed Rocky Hill Park in 2009-2010 with funding from a State grant. The NE piece of Rocky Hill park is not in current planning due to topographic and logistical challenges. In order to surplus that section, State policy requires that the replacement property be of equal value and equivalent recreational utility. The proposed replacement property at Orchard park satisfies the requirement.
Comments on the proposed resolution are due no later than July 18, 2018. They should be addressed to City Administrator, City of Liberty Lake, 22710 E Country Vista Dr., Liberty Lake, WA 99019.
