[ARCHIVED] Register now for this spring's 2025 Liberty Lake City Academy!

What types of equipment do your police and fire departments use? What are the considerations involved in local land zoning? And what goes on in developing the city's budget each year?

Get an up-close look at how your city services work by joining the 2025 edition of the Liberty Lake City Academy! Registration is NOW OPEN for this spring's 8-part series, which will run from April 24 to June 12.

The interactive presentations from topic experts will be held on Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m., primarily from the very locations where those city services operate. The City Academy will be filled with insights into how your city's operations work ... plus it will offer some foundational information for any resident who might have an interest in someday applying for one of Liberty Lake's commission, board, or elected positions.

Exact dates and locations for each topic will be announced closer to the start of this spring's series. Topics expected to be included in this "on the road" series are:
- Form of Government (which will serve as the kickoff session of this series at the Trailhead Golf Course clubhouse Rotary Room)
- Land Use and Zoning
- Solid Waste
- Budget and Strategic Plan
- Streets and Parks
- Library
- Fire and Emergency Services
- Utilities
- Law Enforcement

Enrollment for the 2025 Liberty Lake City Academy will be capped at 15 people, and participation is free. Attendees are encouraged to take part in each installment of the entire 8-part series. However, area residents are also invited to attend any specific session topic of their interest.
