[ARCHIVED] The Moving Wall - Vietnam War Memorial replica here Sept. 15-19

Kids visiting The Moving Wall

The Moving Wall -- a reduced-size reproduction of the Vietnam War Memorial -- is on display in Liberty Lake's Pavillion Park from Thursday, Sept. 15, through Monday, Sept. 19.  This is the only appearance that the tribute display will be making in the western United States during 2022.

The Moving Wall is making its visit through the efforts of the local Gallant Guards of Liberty group.  Learn more about the Gallant Guards of Liberty group here.

Area residents will be able to watch the replica's arrival into town from 7:30 to 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, when it is escorted from the Oxford Suites in Spokane Valley in a route that will include Indiana Avenue, Liberty Lake Road, and E. Country Vista Drive before stopping for its 5-day stay at Pavillion Park.  View a map of the escort route here from the Gallant Guards of Liberty's Facebook site.
