Liberty Lake Kiwanis Club's Father Daughter Dance — Saturday, March 4, 2023.  Website 

Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, April 1, at Orchard Park starting at 11:00 a.m.  Presented by Girl Scouts Troop 2360, with $5 admission as fundraiser for Girl Scouts.  (Previous annual Easter Egg Hunt at Pavillion Park not being held during 2023.)

Liberty Lake City Academy — Thursdays, April 13-June 1, starting at 7 p.m. at City Hall (8 total sessions).  Details and registration link are available at this page on our website. 

• City of Liberty Lake Spring Cleanup Day — April 22, 2023     

• May Day Liberty Lake (inaugural event) — Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Welcome spring with a traditional Maypole, flower crows, and May Day baskets along with vendors and presenters at Liberty Lake Town Square.  This new event is hosted by Adorkable Flowers and Gifts.    

• Farmers Market at Town Square Park — Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during May 20-Oct. 14.  Website 

• Windemere Marathon — Sunday, May 21.  Website

• Memorial Day Weekend's Rotary Luminary Tribute at Pavillion Park — May 26-30.

• Memorial Day Ceremony and Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast at Pavillion Park — Monday, May 29.  Breakfast served 8 to 10:30 a.m.  Ceremony starts at 9 a.m.  Join the Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary at Pavillion Park each year at the end of May for a pancake breakfast and remembrance of those in the military.  All proceeds from the breakfast support the Inland Northwest Honor Flight.  Inland Northwest Honor Flight’s mission is to transport Inland Northwest war veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. • Winter Glow Spectacular Golf Tournament at Liberty Lake Golf Course — Saturday, June 10:  This morning event to benefit the 2023 Liberty Lake Winter Glow Spectacular involves a 4-person scramble with awards to the top 3 teams as well as a raffle drawing.  Registration is $125 per golfer.  Hole and prize sponsorship opportunities are also available.  For full information, contact Mark Saba at 509-457-9261.

• Friends of the Library Summer Book Sale at Liberty Lake Municipal Library — Friday-Saturday, June 16-17.

• Kiwanis Yard Sale (citywide) — Saturday, June 17:  The annual Liberty Lake Kiwanis Yard Sale weekend includes food and craft vendors at Pavillion Park. For more information, go to: https://www.libertylakekiwanis.org/Page/13312.

• Liberty Lake Boat Parade — Monday, July 3, 2023, 4 p.m.:  At the lake!

• Summer Movies in the Parks at Pavillion Park (except as noted otherwise):  July 3 ("Puss In Boots: The Last Wish"), July 8 ("Minions: The Rise of Gru"), July 22 ("Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" at Orchard Park), July 29 ("Soul"), Aug. 11 ("Top Gun"), Aug. 12 ("Top Gun: Maverick"), Aug. 18 ("Space Jam: A New Legacy" at River Rock Park), Aug. 26 ("The Super Mario Bros. Movie").

• Liberty Lake 4th of July concert & fireworks display — July 4, 2023:  City's fireworks display will be launched from the baseball fields between Liberty Creek and the Liberty Lake elementary schools.  Display will begin around 10 p.m. and can be viewed throughout the city.  The fireworks are preceded by a concert on the Pavillion Park stage by Too Slim and the Taildraggers from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Also in the area on the 4th of July:  A community-organized 4th of July Parade at Alpine Shores that starts at 11 a.m.

• Soapbox Derby — July 8, 2023:  The Greater Spokane Valley Rotary Club hosts its annual Challenge Series Race near Pavillion Park.  This race is intended to offer special needs children with a memorable experience in which they are paired with a volunteer driver and a soapbox derby-type race car.  There is no charge to participants or for spectators to come watch.  Contact the Greater Spokane Valley Rotary Club to learn how to nominate a special needs child to race or how to become a sponsor or volunteer as a driver.  Further information can be found at the Greater Spokane Valley Rotary Club's Facebook site.  

• Friends of the Liberty Lake Library's Summer Soiree — Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 5 to 8 p.m.:  Liberty Lake Municipal Library fundraiser at Liberty Lake Wine Cellars

• Barefoot In the Park — Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023:  The day-long gathering outdoor fun, music, and food at Pavillion Park from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and includes an annual car show and -- this year -- the addition of the Touch-A-Truck event.  Music at the end of the day from Kosta La Vista and Nu Jack City.

Schedule for the 2023 Barefoot in the Park:
- 9:00:  Vendor booths open (until 4 p.m.)
- 9:00:  Family fun activities (until 5 p.m.)
- 10:00:  Food trucks open (coffee earlier)
- 10:00: HUB cornhole and pickleball open (until 2 p.m.)
- 11:00:  Demonstrations at main stage.  Schedule:  Dog agility (11:00), Sit Means Sit Dog Training (11:45), Northwest Taekwondo Academy (12:30), Spokane Police Dogs (1:15)
- 11:00:  Water dump tank, benefitting Ridgeline band (until 4 p.m.).  Schedule:  Mayor Cris Kaminskas (11:00), Ridgeline band director Eric Parker (11:30), LLPD Chief Damon Simmons (12 noon), Ridgeline freshman football coach Michael Hamblet (12:30), CVSD superintendent John Parker (1:00), City Council member Jed Spencer (1:30), Ridgeline assistant principal Grady Emerson (2:00), LLPD Deputy Chief Darin Morgan (2:30), Greenacres Middle School principal Quinn LeSage (3:00), Ridgeline percussion coordinator Nate Hunt (3:30).
- 11:00:  Skyhawks "Day of Play" activities (until 4 p.m.)

- 1:00:  Decorated golf cart parade around north perimeter of park.  Participants may register at noon at court between the main stage and parking lot.
- 3:00:  Beer garden (until 7:30 p.m.)
- 4:00:  Live music at main stage from Kosta La Vista (until 5:30 p.m.)
- 6:00:  Live music at main stage from Nu Jack City (until 7:30 p.m.)

• Liberty Lake Throw Down: Community Cornhole Tournament — Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, from 1 to 7 p.m.:  This annual tournament raises funds for the HUB Sports Center. See details and registration information here at HUB's Throw Down web page.  

• Shakespeare in the Parks presents "The Three Musketeers" — Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, 5 p.m.:  Annual visit from the Montana Shakespeare in the Parks group from Montana State University.

• Mutt Strut — Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, 8 a.m. to noon:  This annual event starts at and is hosted by Pawpular Companions.

• Spokane Symphony Concert at Pavillion Park — Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023:  The annual Lud Kramer Memorial Spokane Symphony Concert, sponsored by the City of Liberty Lake, is a free event at Pavillion Park.  Two-hour concert starts at 6 p.m.

• Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary's RIM (Rotary In Motion) Ride — Sept. 10, 2023: For bicycling enthusiasts of all ages and skills, the Rotary In Motion Ride (RIM Ride) is an elevation ride that explores the beautiful areas of Liberty Lake, Post Falls, Hauser Lake, Newman Lake, Green Bluss, and Spokane Valley.  Proceeds from this ride suppor the Rotary Club and its community outreach projects.  See the event's website for registration and other information.  Or get further updates at its Facebook site.

• Cops, Cars & Cruisers — Sept. 15, 2023: This event that supports Special Olympics is held at Meadowwood Technological Park and involves a car show, a drill team performance, and other entertainment throughout the afternoon, capping with an open cruise at 6 p.m.

• Winter Glow Spectacular — November 18 through Jan. 1: Orchard Park spectacularly lights up the Christmas season each year with an ever-memorable walk-through display, thanks to the efforts of a great and dedicated group of local volunteers.  Opening ceremony is Saturday, Nov. 18, starting at 6 p.m. with music from the Ridgeline High School band, remarks from Mayor Cris Kaminiskas, arrival from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and the lighting of this year's display.
