Public Works

The public works section is committed to maintaining and enhancing the city's trails, parks, streets and stormwater systems.  We also manage the city's capital projects and keep our buildings in working order.

It Is Pot Hole Season Again

As a important seasonal issue, if you happen to see a pot hole forming you can do one of the following:

  1. Call City Hall at 509-755-6700,
  2. use Google Earth to send a Placemark of the pot hole location/description to Andrew Staples, City Engineer at astaples@libertylakewa.gov
  3. use the City comment form.  This will be forwarded to Andrew Staples, City Engineer.
We will get it repaired as soon as possible.  Thank you for helping us keep our City roads in good working order.

2013 Projects

We are in the planning stages for our 2013 projects.  The following are planned for construction this season:

  • Fallen Heroes Fitness Course
  • Liberty Lake Fields (open field adjacent the elementary school)
  • Trail Segments along Sprague Avenue.
  • Street Maintenance
Please call us with any questions.

Best Regards,

Andrew Staples

City Engineer
