General Information The City of Liberty Lake offers our citizens plenty of parks, trails, and open space. Currently, the city owns and operates 2 parks (Pavillion Park, and Rocky Hill Park), and there are 4 other pocket parks located within city limits. The City also has over 25 miles of multi-use trails, 3 golf courses, and public access available to the Spokane River. Nearby parks and open space include Liberty Lake County Park (south of the City), a public boat launch (on 3rd Ave, just off Molter), and the Stateline Dog Park located 4 miles east of the City on Interstate 90. The City's Parks and Open Space Level of Service is 30 acres per 1000 population which the City exceeds. The City presently boasts a Parks and Open Space level of service of 79.4 acres per 1000 (34.3 acres per 1000 not including golf courses).
Reservations 2013 reservations for all City Facilities began on Wednesday, January 2nd. If you are interested in reserving a park facility they are reserved on a first come, first serve basis based on completed Facility Use Permit Applications and payment of fee. Free use is available to 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
Status groups who provide a copy of their Nonprofit Status Letter/Tax ID #. Please note that all parks close at dusk.
Facility Use Permits are required for activities, functions, or events requesting scheduled use of: 1. Council Chambers at City Hall 2. Little House at City Hall 3. The Picnic Structure at Pavillion Park. 4. Any Sports Field at Pavillion Park. 5. The Baseball Diamond at Pavillion Park. 6. The Picnic Structure at Rocky Hill Park. 7. Any Sports Field at Rocky Hill Park.
Exceptions: 1. General non-scheduled use of City Facilities 2. Other activities as determined by the Director *Please note that general use of City Facilities is subject to scheduled activities, functions, or events.

Reservations for the community garden plots started on January 2, 2013. Rocky Hill and Arboretum garden plots are now full.
Each year the plots are available to anyone and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
