Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

The City of Liberty Lake is so thankful to be a recipient of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant. This grant was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and The Washington State Department of Commerce and Energy Policy Division. These grant funds are being used to create and implement an energy conservation plan for the City of Liberty Lake along with the installation of a 14 kWh grid tie, battery-backed solar system at the City's Police Department which will power a new Satellite Emergency Management Center.

You can check out all of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants at the Recovery Act website. You can also visit the Washington State Department of Commerce and Energy Policy Division's website to check out what they are doing to help "green" Washington.
