Liberty Lake City Council

The City Council is the legislative and policy making body for the City of Liberty Lake. It is the Council's responsibility to make and pass laws within the city. The City of Liberty Lake has a strong mayor-council form of government. This page details some key facts about the City Council.


About the City Council

The Mayor chairs all meetings of the City Council. The Council is comprised of seven members who meet bi-monthly to work on city issues. As the legislative body, the City Council establishes local laws and policies, and has general oversight and control over City's finances, primarily through the budget process.
