Committees

City government holds various meetings with committees and commissions for planning and development activities. 

Community Development Subcommittee:

This subcommittee is composed of three City Council members who correspond with the Planning & Community Development Department Director on a regular basis about issues including:

• Zoning and land use
  
• Economic development
  
• Community development

Design Review Subcommittee:

This subcommittee is composed of three members of the Planning Commission and two City staff members that review proposed projects for compliance with the City Design Standards. Additionally, this group facilitates the development and refinement of the City Design Standards. This group meets on an as needed basis.
